J. W. Christian Is The Purchaser,
$22,500 Is The Price.

Christain Leases Hotel To Scovill.

Late Saturday evening a deal was consumated by which the ownership of the Fannin
passed from W. T. Fannin to J. W. Christian at a consideration of $22,500.
The 350 acre farm of Mr. Christian out near
Otto passes to Mr. Fannin in the trade. Mr. Christian paying the
difference. The hotel sale includes the block of land extending from Falls
street to the alley west of the Rush-Gardner Bartlett building and south to the
livery stable lot. The sale also includes the hotel furniture, fixtures,
etc.
Mr. Fannin also gets the two business lots
on Winter street.
Mr. Christian leased the hotel at once to
V. A. Scovill for a rental price of $1,800 per year. Mr. Scovill took
charge this morning.
