We had a good rain here
Monday.
The Baptists are holding a protracted
meeting.
Wm Moore and daughter Miss Ella of Hamilton
arrived Sunday and will spend several days with friends and relatives.
Mr and Mrs Fred Harding left Monday for
their in Waco after a week's visit with friends and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. D F Bateman returned Monday
from a two weeks visit in Marlin accompanied by Mrs Mollie Bartlett and children
who will spend a week.
J J Harwell, Turner Miracle, Hiram
Kirkland, Tom Osborne, Claud Loughlin and Stuart Jackson attended court in
Marlin Monday.
Wm Moore went to Waco Wednesday.
We haven't any of the boll weevils but
plenty of the worms.
Willie Christian and John Bateman went to
Marlin Sunday.
Jones Connally, Floy Moore and Rufus
Loughlin attended court in Marlin Monday.
Jackson & Harris sold to Tom Stuart of
Marlin 60 bushels of Johnson grass seed to be shipped to his ranch near San
Angelo.
