The Easter services at the Methodist church Sunday were very interesting and
were attended by a large congregation. A feature of the services were a
number of songs by Miss Sydneybel Easley, Mrs. Dr. Torbett and Mrs. J. W.
Spivey.
J. B. Mires has moved his market to the
Nettles building on the north side of Live Oak street. The building has
recently been refitted and Mr. Mires now has one of the neatest markets in the
state. Mr. Haigler, in charge of the market, is an experienced market man
and their customers may rest assured that they will be given the best that money
can buy.
