Dr. Rolo's Wish
~~~~~
Some days
ago while Benton Willey was visiting Dr. Rolo who is very low with consumption
at his near Wilderville, the Doctor expressed the wish that his four little
children, who are burried at the Bozeman graveyard, could be moved to Rosebud,
as he wished to be burried there himself and would love to have them
alltogether. With that friendship which has ever been a characteristic of the
man, Mr. Wiley selected him a lot in Woodland cemetery and on Tuesday went out
and brought in the remains of the little ones and had them interred here. Such
acts of kindness as the above are sure to bring their reward.
Dr. J. L. Roll Dead
~~~~~
Dr. J. L.
Roll, who has been suffering with consumption for several months past, died at
his near Wilderville Satrday night, surrounded by his family and a few friends.
For some time he had known that his death might come at any moment, and he
seemed perfectly resigned to the inevitable.
He was a fine physician and was honored and respected by the people for whom
he had labored many years.
His remains were interred in Woodland Cemetery, in this city, Sunday
afternoon at 3 o'clock, besides the graves of his four little children, whose
remains were recently brought here from the Bozman burying ground.
