DILLARD TRIAL AT MARLIN
Killing of Marshal Coleman to Be
Taken up Soon
Special to The Telegram.
-WACO, Texas,
Feb. 14.- Two or three attorneys
left Waco yesterday for Marlin, to participate in the trial of Dillard for
killing City Marshal C. C. Coleman in that place some months ago. Russell H. Kingsbury went down to aid Counsel Z. I. Harlan in
the prosecution of the case and Captain T. A. Blair went to aid Counsel
Llewellyn in the defense. There is
much interest here in Waco, and in fact in this whole section, in the case, as
Marshal Coleman was well known and one of the oldest officers in this part of
the country, having been marshal at Marlin about eighteen years.
