MR. DICKSON GETS
LOST WATCH BACK.
Editor Dickson of Edna, who is in the
city is a very happy man by reason of having recovered a valuable watch that he
lost on Wednesday last. Realizing the value of printers ink, Mr. Dickson
inserted a small notice in the DEMOCRAT on Thursday, giving a description of the
time piece. Friday morning a negro appeared at the jewelry store of Sam Bykowsky
with a gentleman's watch that he wanted to trade for a lady's watch. Mr.
Bykowsky had read the ad. and readily recognized the watch as the one advertised
by Mr. Dickson. The owner was notified and his property restored.
