DAVIS' SPEAKING.
In view
of the near approach of the Democratic Primary election and the further fact
that we seem to lose sight of state and county interests, all being swallowed up
in the race for congress. Does, or should not our state and county laws
and officials concern us more than others?
In order to have the opportunity to go
before the people and present my claims, and that my opponent may have the same
chance, I make the following list of appointments, to all which I most
respertfully (sic) invite my opponent or their representatives:
Perry, May 30th, at night.
McClanahan, June 2d, at night.
Reagan, June 4th, at night.
Powers Chapel, June 6th.
Barclay, May 25th, at night.
Bellsfalls, May 27th, at night.
Eddy, May 29th, at night.
Otto, May 31st, 4 p.m.
Stranger, June 3d, at night.
Cedar Springs, June 5th, at night.
Eureka, June 7th, at night.
Other appointments will be made at the
various points.
J. J. Davis.
