The Commission Straightens Out
Matters.
-----
For some time the H. & T.
C. and I. & G. N. railroads have been at cross purposes over the matter of
switching the cars of sach (sic) other at Bryan.
The railroad commission was appealed to by
the business league at Bryan to force the roads to handle the cars of each
other, as their refusal to do so was resulting in great inconveniece to the
people who shipped cotton over for compressing.
After hearing the facts in the case the
commissioners entered an order directing each road to receive and switch the
cars of the other road for the prices usually charged for such work.
