SHERIFF'S SALE.

THE STATE OF TEXAS,
County of Falls.
By virtue of an execution, issued out of the Honorable
County Court of Falls county, on 25 day of July A. D. 1904, by the Clerk
thereof, in the case of T. S. Clark versus J. F. Houx No. 1539, and to me, as
Sheriff, directed and delivered, I will proceed to sell for cash, within the
hours prescribed by law for Sheriff's Sales, on the First Tuesday in September
A. D; 1904, it being the 6th day of said month, before the court house door of
said Falls County, in the city of Marlin the following described property, to
wit:
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated
in the town of Marlin; Falls county Texas, a part of a, lot sold to Mary J. and
Sallie E. Tomlin son by J. W. Jones on May 7th 1891, by deed of that date and
which is of record in book 4 page 168 of the deed records of Falls county Texas,
said lot being a part of lot No 8 and beginning at the S W corner of said lot
No. 8 thence N 100 feet with the east line of Hays street, thence east 100 feet,
thence S 100 feet to the S E corner of this lot, thence W 100 feet to the place
of beginning and being the same lot or parcel of land which was conveyed to J.
F. Houx by R. J. McKinney and wife Lizzie McKinney by deed dated July 4 1900 and
which is of record in book 31, page 272. of the deed of records of Falls county
Texas, to which said deed and its said record reference is made for a more
perfect and accurate description of said piece or parcel of land levied on as
the property of J. F. Houx to satisfy a judgment amounting to $320.46 in favor
of T. S. Clark and costs of suit.
Given under my hand, this 26th day of July A. D. 1904.
