CITY TAX VALUES.
City Tax Assessor and Collector
Burkhead has completed the tax rolls for 1904 and the same has been passed upon
by the board of equalization and finally approved by the city council.
The total valuation is $1,825,490, divided as follows:
Real estate

Horses and mules, (373) 3,965
Cattle, (308) 4,785
Rolling stock, (354) 11,565
Merchandise 274,670
Personal property 474,810
The amount of taxes shown to be due on these rolls
including 693 polls, is $21,686.55, apportioned as follows:
School fund $9,128.40
General fund 4,564.09
Street and alley 2,737.91
School house bonds 1,470.01
Refunding bond 1,459.72
The total valuation shows a slight decrease over 1903.
