CANNERY MEETING.

CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS ADOPTED--DIRECTOR
ELECTED.
A meeting
of the stockholders of the canning factory was held in the office of J. R.
Taylor on Wednesday afternoon. The committee on bylaws and constitution
reported and the same was adopted.
It was
decided that the name of the institution should be the "Falls County Canning and
Manufacturing Co." so as to admit the addition of the manufacturing of a number
of articles, without the further necessity of an amended charter.
Communications were read from various parties desiring to sell machinery for the
plant.
The
vacancy in the board of directors that was left open at the previous meeting was
filled by the election of A. L. Branson.
The board
is now composed of the following gentlemen: Geo. S. Cousins, L. N.
Stanley, S. H. Johnson, J. R. Taylor, J. T. Owen, Jno. L. Sylvester, A. L.
Branson.
