CANNERY ASSURED.
-----
Sufficient Pledges To Guarantee
Its Construction.
-----
A canning factory will be
built in Marlin. That much was settled at the meeting of the Marlin
Business League Monday night. There was very little discussion over the
proposition. A list was opened for subscription to stock and in a few
minutes seventy two of the one hundred shares were taken.
It is the intention of the promoters that
the stock shall be distributed among as many people as practical and those
signing for more than one share did so with the purpose of placing the shares
(at first value of course) with other parties. The object of this was to
guarantee a sufficient number of shares to insure its construction.
