-----
Meeting at Chilton Largely Attended
--Good Results.
-----
The twelfth annual session of the Falls county Baptist Association closed its
labors at Chilton Saturday.
This session is designed as one of the best
in the history of the association in point of attendance, devotional exercises,
and amount of collections.
Rev. W. A. Knight, pastor of the Reagan
church was chosen moderator and presided with ease and fairness to all.
J. M. Freeman, of Chilton, the secretary of
the association, kept the minutes.
The collections and pledges for the various
objects amounted to over $2000.
Twenty three churches were represented by
messengers.
The association was well entertained by the
hospitable people of Chilton, the members of all denominations joining in seeing
that all were cared for.
The next session of the association will be
held with the Otto church in 1903.
