DOG LOSES LIFE IN HOT ROSEBUD WELL WATER PIT

Reports about an unusual manner by which a coon dog died recently near Rosebud is being told by coon dog owners Alvin Hill and Grady Wright.

They stated their dogs were taken to near the Rosebud city lake for exercise.  At his point an artesian water flow of hot water with considerable mineral content flows into a slush pit below the lake dam.  The dog is reported to have bogged down in the pit and was scalded to death before he was able to escape.
