News From Rosebud

(Rosebud News.)

       Jimmie Williams suffered a painful accident Tuesday at dusk as he was making the corner at the Ed Sefeek residence with a load of gravel.  A cotton wagon, which was not visible from the truck, came into view just at the turn and Jimmie had to take the ditch.  He suffered injuries on the chest and right arm.  His truck was badly wrecked.

Sitz-Kraemer.

       Albert Sitz and Miss Alma Kraemer were united in marriage at Terry's Chapel church at 9:30 a.m. Monday morning, with Rev. A. C. Koeppe, pastor officiating at the ceremony, which was witnessed by members of the famiy of the bride and groom.  Mr. and Mrs. Sitz left soon after the ceremony for Austin, San Antonio and other points to be gone on a two weeks' honeymoon trip.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Kraemer.  The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Sitz.  A wedding supper celebrating the wedding was given t the of Mr. and Mrs. Kraemer Monday evening.

Wafford-Koppa

       On October 31, Miss Della Koppa of Travis and Mr. Guy Wafford of Cooledge were united in marriage at the of his parents at Cooledge, with Rev. Harrison, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating.  The bride was beautifully attired in brown with accessories to match.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Koppa of Travis.  Mr. and Mrs. Wafford will make their in Mexia.

Rosebud Cotton Receipts.

       Total bales ginned in Rosebud 12,419; total received in Rosebud, 20,109.

Legion Homecoming.

       On Tuesday evening, November 10, at eight o'clock, all world war veterans eligible to membership in the Brodie Lee Caywood post No. 329, Rosebud, will meet at the legion hall for a homecoming.
