ROSEBUD RUMBLING,S

Rosebud, Tex., Jan. 18.--Mr. L. C. Pender, who has been suffering for some weeks past with pneumonia died here this afternoon.  The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock and the remains will be laid to rest in Woodland cemetery at Rosebud with the K. of P. and W. O. W. honors, of which he was a member.
Mr. Pender has resided in this city for several years and was one of the young promising business men, and leaves a wife and two children besides the entire community to mourn for him.

The infant son of Mrs. Dora White, who was severly burned by falling into a fire on Thursday afternoon, died here yesterday and was buried today.

The electic light plant has started up again after being shut down several days on account of water supplies.  They now have water hauled from Cameron.

The oil and flour mill people have completed a tank covering nearly three acres of ground, thereby placing themselves out of the position of being embarrassed on account of water supply--that is after it rains again.
