ROSEBUD NEWS NOTES.

Dr. C. L. Power left last Saturday
for Mt. Carmel, Ky., where he will spend some time for the benefit, of his
health.
Sam Davis arrived at Hoboken, N. J., Saturday morning
and left in the afternoon for Bremen. His many friends wish him a sage and
pleasant journey.
Dr. Black spent Sunday with Major Waters at Lampasas.
He said the Major's condition is extremely critical, and that a change for the
better will have to take place very soon.
Rosebud Lodge Sons of Herman will give a grand feast on
Thursday, June 28. They will be speaking by the candidates and amusements
for both old and young. The days festivities will conclude with a grand
ball at night.
S. J. Gaines and family passed through the city Sunday
on route for Chilton where they will remain some time for the benefit of Mess
Hinda's health. She did not improve as fast at Llano as was expected,
hence they will try Chilton for some time.
