T. E. Powell, Baird banker, is a Marlin visitor.

       M. J. Poole of Borger was a Marlin visitor today.

       Mr. and Mrs. Farris and Gay Norris of Ennis are guests in the of Mrs. C. K. Bailey.

       C. O. Weatherell, chief clerk of the San Antonio air depot at Duncan field, is in Marlin for the baths.

       Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Seale of Harlingen, former Marlin residents, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Dock High.

       Dave Denning has gone to San Antonio for a meeting of the Texas state embalmers' board, of which he is a member.

       R. L. Crudup, former mayor of Ardmore, Okla., is in Marlin on a visit.  He is a former resident of the Blevins community of Falls county.
