LOCAL NEWS.
Wm Mccomb, patent of
Mccomb's cotton harvester has discovered that his machine will cut the pesky
boll weevil into smidgets avoiding the further necessity of burning them.
He exhibited at this office a lot of them ground to dust with the leaves off the
cotton.
Cards have been issued announcing the
marriage of Miss Lillie Lee Nunnelly to Mr. Sterl S. Ward Wednesday evening,
June 18th, at 8:30 o'clock at the First Baptist church, Marlin.
