The pecan market has taken a slump and some
are selling as lowas 5 cents per pound. The fall in the price is ascribed
to the heavy yield.

Mrs. C. H. Boedeker of Bowie is visiting
her relatives, Mrs. Mentz and daughter, who are among the health seekers here

Miss Hallie Westlock has returned to Austin
after a visit to relatives here. She was accompanied to Austin by her
sister, Mrs. Nettles.
Albert Levy is among the many who have had

The city has received a carload of sewer
pipe that was ordered last April for use on the streets of the city. It is
the earthenware kind and its delay in getting here is due to the great demand
for this particular kind.
