NOTICE TO PERSONS
HANDLING FOOD AND DRINK
Owing to Marlin's close proximity to army camps,
we have been instructed to see that all food and drink
handlers be examined and have health certificates.
This is army regulation for the protection of soldiers
who might come to Marlin.

NOTICE
Our County is at war and we are doing our best to
comply with all orders issued by the Government.  We may
make mistakes, but we will try to follow the letter and spirit of
such orders.  Due to the fact that some regulations pertaining to
building are not well understood, we list below what you can
build without securing authority.
1.  New residential construction, including farm
homes, which cost less than $500 for anyone
building during a continuous 12-month period.

2.  Remodling (sic) construction on residences,
anywhere involving change of design or
additions,costing less than $500 for any one
structure within 12 months.

3.  Maintenance or repair of residences, and all
other kinds of buildings to keep them in, or
restore them to, sound working conditions
without restriction of cost, provided no
changes of design nor additions are made.
