City's disbursement today for street graveling improvement was $979, which is
about the average that has been paid out each week since the graveling was
started.

"I am looking for that brother of mine. He left me a good fat turkey for
Thanksgiving, and I want to see now if he will send me a bushel of corn,"
said a Marlin man today.

No Epworth League meeting will be held in Marlin Sunday evening account of the
district institute opening at Caldwell tonight. Ben Bohn, Francis Eddins,
Misses Anna Belle Towers and Audrey Davis left for Caldwell this afternoon while
others plan to go Sunday.
