The Cabin Boys will meet with Rev. F. P. Goddard at Memorial
Cabin at 7:30 o'clock tonight.
The duck season opened today in this section, while the open season on deer and
wild turkey began in Southwest Texas.
J. W. Mundell, who has been ill recently underwent a second blood transfusion
today, the blood being given by N. H. Lovell.
A large section of country north and west of Riesel received a good shower of
rain Sunday morning and in the afternoon light showers fell at Reagan and in the
Alto Springs area.
Miss Ollie Mooty of Temple, Misses Minnie Harkins and Margaret Warren of Belton,
Mrs. Flo Folmar of Tyler and Mrs. Lola Gravely of San Antonio were weekend
guests of Miss Marjorie Rogers.
