       R. L. Singer and Mrs. J. A. Phipps have returned from a visit to Tom Singer at Corsicana, who recently underwent an operation.

       A number of Marlin fans "hied themselves hither" to the gridiron classic between S. M. U. and A. and M. at College Station this afternoon.
