Ensign James Murphy of the Untied States navy leaves this week for San
Francisco, Calif., where he will go aboard the U. S. S. Tennessee for active
duty after spending several weeks at home. He was graduated from the naval
academy at Annapolis, Md., in June and later took a four-weeks flying course at
San Diego, Calif.
