       Falls county vegetable and truck areas are producing as good or better edibles as can be found anywhere.  Buy Falls county products.

       The cotton plant is reported reacting nicely to the July rains.  Corn is a little light, but oat and other feed crops will aid the supply of provender for farm animals.

       Announcement has been received of the approaching marriage of Miss Mary Louise Stallworth, daughter of Mrs. Julia Currie Stallworth, to Mr. Zenas Wilson Bartlett, Jr., which will be solemnized in a ceremony on Monday, August 3, 1931, at eight p.m. in the First Presbyterian church of Marlin.  They will be at in Freeport.
