A FALLS COUNTY TEACHER HONORED.
-----
Supt. W.
A. Holland of Hearne, a former Falls county teacher, has been selected as
conductor of a summer normal to be held at Bryan for the teachers of Robertson,
Brazos and Madison counties, with a possibility of Falls joining the
combination.
Mr.
Holland was for four years principal of the Marlin high school and conducted the
Central Texas normal here last summer. He is one of the strongest and
most promising young school men in the state, and his name at the head of the
normal guarantees success.
He is well
known in this county and has many friends among the teachers and people who will
be delighted to hear of his obtaining such high honor.
