To The Democrat:
Old mother earth is getting a good soaking after a
thirst of several hot months.
There will be preaching at Hope Saturday
night and Sunday. Everybody come out and hear the new preacher.
J. M. Watters of Brisco county is down
visiting his sister, Mrs. A. L. Coleman.
Miss Aubrey Pyland has returned to her hom
ein Oklahoma, accompanied by her uncle, Lon Neely.
Miss Annie Powers is up again after a
week's attack of dengue fever. She had rather a severe spell but is now
regaining her strength nicely.
Morgan Neely says it was all mistake about
him selling his place.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Barton of McClanahan are
visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bradshaw.
