WADDELL PIERCE WILLIAMS, JR.

     Waddell Pierce Williams, b October 29, 1905 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas - was a son of Waddell Pierce and Cora Jane (Boney) Williams, Sr.

     Waddell Pierce Williams, Jr. (called Pierce) was attending The University of Texas, Austin - studying Electric Engineering - when he met a fellow - student and married June 9, 1929 in Marlin, Texas to Marie Baeuchle, b March 12, 1909 in Falls County, Texas - a daughter of Paul. Ferdinand and Rachel (Wieting) Baeuchle. They both left the University, and he went to work as a Welder in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until 1930, when Mr. Baeuchle died, and they returned to Marlin, Texas to take over the successful, renowned Baeuchle Studios - the photography business he had established. Pierce and Marie carried on her father's business for forty-four years, until they retired and sold out.

     Waddell Pierce and Marie (Beauchle) Williams were the parents of two children:

     Waddell Pierce Williams, III, b January 11, 1933 - married November 10,1956 to Phyllis Irene Cooper. They had four children: Jennifer Gaye Williams, Jeffrey Dell Williams, Cynthia Rae Williams, and Craig Lee Williams, and reside in Marietta, Georgia.

     Jeanine Williams, b May 2, 1936 - married August 11, 1956 in Marlin, Texas to Joe Bert Sissom, b February 8, 1932 in Italy, Texas - a son of Albert R. and Mary (Carlyle) Sissom. They have three children: Marc Steven Sissom, Jana Brynne Sissom, and Bert Waddell Sissom.

     Pierce and Marie Williams are very active in the First United Methodist Church of Marlin, and in many other civic and community affairs. They continue to reside in Marlin.
