S 2c Ledford H. Watkins, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Glover Watkins from Rosebud. He was the husband of Florence Boyd. He attended Cedar Springs and Rosebud schools. He entered the Navy in 1943. He trained at Corpus Christi, Texas and in Shoemaker, California.
