F/I Elza L. Walston Jr. the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Walston. He was the husband of Jacki An Bingham. He attended San Houston State Teachers College. He entered the Army Air Corps in 1942. He trained in Texas, Kansas, Califoria, Arizona, Florida and Nebraska.
