JESSE GLOUCHESTER RUBLE

     Jesse Glouchester Ruble, b January 29, 1849 in Texas, d May 23,1923 at Lott, Falls County, Texas and buried in Clover Hill Cemetery - was a son of Aaron and Sarah E. (Smalley) Ruble. Jesse came to Falls County with his mother, siblings, and maternal uncle, after the death of his father in 1865.

     About 1874, Jesse G. Ruble was married to Tennessee Allen, b January 10, 1852, d October 30, 1903 and buried in Clover Hill Cemetery- a daughter of Spencer Allen. Tennessee was called "Tennie"

     Jesse and "Tennie" had three children:

     Claudies M. Ruble, b January 28, 1875, d August 12, 1892.

     Robert E. Ruble, b February 17, 1879, d January 27, 1974 at Lott - married Mary Elizabeth McCreary, b 1879, d 1933 in Lott. Robert was a business partner of Rolla G. Hailey in the Hailey Dry Goods Store, and his daughter, Bobbie Ruble married Rolla G.'s son, Rolla Will Hailey.

     William G. Ruble, b June 25, 1885, d April 9, 1955 at Lott - married first to Leni Magee, b July 8, 1888, d March 14, 1914 - a daughter of Norvell Abner and Carolyn Elizabeth Magee; and married second to Mrs. Elmo (Barton) Crouch, b January 4,1886, d May 20, 1969 - a daughter of James F. and Anna (Chapman) Barton and a widow of William W. Crouch of Reagan, Texas.
