HENRY AYCOCK ROGERS

     Henry Aycock Rogers, b 1830 in Morgan County, Alabama, died in late 1861 or early 1862 while in the Confederate States Army during the Civil War - was a son of Larkin R. and Mary A. (Aycock) Rogers of Alabama, who had relocated in 1845 in Falls County, Texas with their seven children.

     Henry married ca 1860 to Elizabeth Jane (called "Eliza Jane") Cornelison, b June 16, 1834 in Barry County, Missouri, d April 29, 1910 in Runnels County, Texas and buried in the cemetery at Winters, Texas- a daughter of Linea Frances (Brandon) Cornelison Garrett and her first husband, Martin Cornelison.

Henry and Eliza Jane had one child, Jefferson Davis Rogers, b May 1, 1861 in Falls County, Texas, d July 19, 1880 and buried in Stranger Cemetery at Stranger in Falls County, Texas.

     After Henry's death, Eliza Jane (Cornelison) Rogers married second on June 30, 1863 in Falls County to Henry's first cousin, William A. Stone, b December 19, 1837 in Morgan County, Alabama, d April 29, 1911 at Bradshaw, Texas and buried by his wife in the cemetery at Winters, Texas - a son of Edmund and Permelia (Aycock) Stone.
