OSCAR LEE RICHARDSON

     Oscar Lee Richardson, b 1893 in Falls County, Texas, d at Chilton, Texas - was a son of George Washington Richardson, b 1869 in Carroll County, Arkansas and his wife, Geneva Lillian (Wrenn) Richardson (who married in Falls County, Texas on October 9, 1892) - a daughter of James W. Wrenn - a merchant at Chilton - and his wife, Sally H. (Kilgrow) Wrenn. All are buried in the Chilton Cemetery.

     On January 24, 1915 in Falls County, Texas, Oscar Lee Richardson married Cora Frances Adeline Hicks (called "Addie"), b ca 1895 in Falls County - a daughter of John Willis and Saran Jane (Tull) Hicks. The Hicks and Tull families came to Falls County in 1892, settling in the Chilton area.

     Oscar and Addie had a daughter, Beatrice Richardson, b ca 1917, who attended the Chilton schools. She married Johnnie Johnson, and they are in the cattle business at Lyons in Burleson, Texas, but continue to maintain a residence in Chilton.
