EMIL REINHOLD POLLEY

 

 

     Emil Reinhold Polley, b April 30, 1892 at Satin, Falls County, Texas, d August 4, 1957 in Waco, Texas and buried in Oakwood Cemetery there - was a son of Emil August and Bertha (Guderian) Polley. On July 13, 1918, Emil Reinhold Polley married at Needville, Texas to Annie Schrader, b October 24, 1889 in Falls County, Texas, d September 4, 1981 near Bruceville, Texas and buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco - a daughter of Henry Herman and Alvina (or Alwina Guderian) Schrader.

     Reinhold and Annie farmed in Falls County, Texas all their lives. They had four children:

     Herbert Herman Polley, b April 20, 1920 in Falls County - married Dorothy Elizabeth Reaves.

     Ruby Lee Polley, b June 20,1923 in Falls County, d November 11, 1976 - married August 23, 1946 to Muriel E. Heslop, moved to Houston and had five children: Royce Carlton Heslop, Polly Merle Heslop, Barry Craighton Heslop, Twyla Karla Heslop, and Robert Rodney Heslop, who died at age five.

     Dorothy May Polley, b January 22, 1928 in Falls County - married Marion F. Gaston, moved to Ft. Worth, Dallas, and Caddo Mills, and had Robert Ver- non Gaston and Edwin Neal Gaston.

     Robert Odell Polley, b February 27, 1930 in Falls County, Texas - married at Crawford, Texas on Sep- tember 26, 1964 to Angeleen F. Engelbrecht, b June 18, 1940. Robert has taught school at La Vega Independent School District since 1954, and they reside on Route 1, Bruceville, Texas. They have four children: Gary, b May 18, 1965 in Waco, Texas; Rose Ann Polley, b November 5, 1968 in Waco; Susan Diane Polley, b July 10, 1970 in Waco; and Carolan Kay Polley, b March 22, 1972 in Waco, Texas.
