1. Mason Lang Mosley was b
Dec 11, 1806 in either Barnwell or Edgefield Dist, SC. His father (Mason
Moseley) was murdered while hunting near his in Barnwell, SC in July of
1806. I have yet to determine whether his mother stayed there for his birth or
returned just a few miles away to her parents in Edgefield Dist, SC for the
birth.
2. Mason Lang Mosley died March 12, 1856 near Evergreen, Conecuh Co, AL of a liver disease.
3. Martha M Jay Mosley was
born Jan 1, 1816 in SC and died Nov 11, 1872 in Falls Co, TX and is buried in
Calvary Cemetery in Marlin. I have not been able to find the headstone,
but a great aunt found it years ago.
For the above items, I have Mason Lang
Mosley's Bible and a copy of his obituary.
4. Martha married John Williamson after the 1860 Conecuh Co, Census where she is listed as Martha M Mosley
and March 11, 1867 when her father's will was written leaving property to
the 5 minor children of his daughter Martha M Williamson.
