JOHNNY CHRISTOPHER MOELLER

Johnny Christopher Moeller, b January 22, 1908 in Westphalia, Falls County, Texas, d November 19, 1977 and buried in Westphalia in St. Mary's Cemetery ‑ was a son of John Christopher and Pauline (Rieger) Moeller, who bought land and built their near the Westphalia Community in 1891, and farmed there the rest of their lives.

On April 14, 1937 in West, McLennan County, Texas, Johnny was married to Dora Elizabeth Hoelscher, b December 6, 1912 in Olfen, Runnels County, Texas ‑ a daughter of August F. and Rosa(Halfmann) Hoelscher, who retired to Falls, County and died at Westphalia ‑ being also buried in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Johnny was a farmer all his life, in which he was joined by his two sons when they were young. He and Dora Elizabeth were active workers in The Church of the Visitation, and in all community affairs.

They were the parents of two sons:

Johnny Christopher Moeller, Jr., b March 10, 1938, who resides in the family with his widowed mother near Westphalia, Falls County, Texas.

Dennis Robert Moeller, b May 3, 1942, who lives in Taylor, Texas, and works for Alcoa Company in Rockdale, Texas. In May 1967, Dennis was married to Sherlyn Sue Sexton, of Rockdale, and they have three children: Tisha Denee Moeller, Tammy Diane Moeller, and Darren Reagan Moeller.
