ELMER LEE MILLER

 

Elmer Lee Miller, b January 29, 1874, d December 28, 1904 in Golinda, Falls County, Texas ‑ was buried in the Guderian Family Cemetery at Cottonwood.

On December 1, 1895 in Falls County, Elmer married Augusta Pauline Guderian, b September 23, 1875 in Washington County, Texas, d May 15, 1960 at Golinda and buried in Rosemound Cemetery in Waco , Texas ‑ a daughter of Ludwig and Annie (Dresner) Guderian. Elmer Lee and Augusta Pauline (Guderian) Miller had four children:

Mamie Miller, b November 29, 1896 ‑ married July 22, 1920 to Otis G. Reson.

Robert Dee Miller, b August 26, 1898 in Falls County, d November 22, 1902.

Freda Laura Miller, b March 5, 1901 ‑ married July 15, 1927 to Ripley Wooley.

David Lewis Miller, b October 31, 1903 in Falls County, d May 21, 1963 ‑ married June 22, 1935 to Ree Annie Alewine.

After Elmer Lee Miller's death, Augusta Pauline (Guderian) Miller married second on January 17, 1909 to Ira Walter Truitt, b April 12, 1881, d November 7, 1965 in Waco, Texas. They lived and farmed in Golinda, Falls County Texas all their married lives, and they had three children:

Leena Annie Truitt, b December 21, 1910 in Falls County ‑ married June 3, 1929 to George Bee Scott.

Bertha Emma Truitt, b November 25, 1916 married on October 18, 1935 to James Ward Harper.

George E. Lee Truitt, b July 16, 1919, d January 14, 1973 ‑ married first to Minnie Pearl Brewer, and second in June 1965 to Amelia Sanez.
