LARRY DAN LUEDKE
Larry Dan Luedke, b December 14, 1955 in Marlin, Falls County, Texas -
was the eldest of three children of Danny Ray and Charlene Ann (Voelter) Luedke.
He attended Marlin High School, graduating as Valedictorian in 1974. In December
1978, Larry was a graduate of the College of Pharmacy at The University of
Texas, Austin, where he was inducted into the Pharmacy Honor Fraternity, Rho
Chi, as well as Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Eta Sigma Fraternities. On graduation,
Larry was Summa Cum Laude, and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement in
Pharmaceutics and service. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in
Marlin.
On January 8, 1978, Larry married Beverly Carole Wolf, b August 3, 1955
at Rosebud - a daughter of Clarence Emil and Norma Blanche (Neal) Wolf, of
Rosebud. Beverly attended school in Rosebud, graduating from Rosebud / Lott High
School. She entered Baylor University in the pre-physical therapy field, and
graduated from The University of Texas with a B.S.degree in Physical Therapy in
1977.
In June 1979, Larry and Beverly moved from Aus- tin to Rosebud, where he
worked as a Pharmacist at Rosebud Medical Services, and assists in the family
Seed Business. At present, he is Chief Pharmacist and Assistant Administrator of
the Rosebud Medical Services Community Hospital. Beverly began working at Scott
and White Hospital in Temple, Texas in 1981, as a Therapist.
Larry is active in community affairs and has served as Rosebud's youngest
City Councilman, is assistant Fire Chief of the Rosebud VFD, a member of the
Rosebud Chamber of Commerce, and is presently one of the Chamber's Directors. He
and Beverly are members of the First Lutheran Church of Rosebud, where he is an
Elder and Treasurer. Larry and Beverly (Wolf) Luedke are the parents of two
children:
Matthew Dustin Luedke, b March 20, 1981 in Temple, Bell County, Texas;
and
Lauren Ashley Luedke, b March 22, 1984 in Temple, Bell County, Texas.
