WILLIAM BRADLEY HODGES

     William Bradley Hodges, b May 27,1888, d in January 1961 - a son of James Josiah and Annie (McCain) Hodges, married first to Nellie Lee Binfold, b in November 1892, d December 13, 1918. He married second in 1949 to Johnnie Hazel McDaniel, and they resided in Falls County, where he was a farmer.

     By his first wife, William Bradley Hodges had five children, and by his second wife, he had one child: (By m1),

     Arthur Frederick Hodges; Mazie Lee Hodges who married Hilton Love and resides in Temple, Texas; Lela Hodges married first L. B. Howard and second D. T. Morris; Nellie Ruth Hodges who married first to V. M. Francis, and second to a Mr. Lehman; and Mary Binford Hodges who married a Mr. Thompson. (By m2),      William Bradley Hodges, II, b 1952, married Deann Owen and has no children. He is a Volunteer Fireman in Marlin.

William Bradley Hodges - always called "Bradley" - was known county - wide for community and county contributions to Falls County.  His enormous size made him identifiable by all who saw him.
