ALEXANDER D. GUDERIAN

 

 

     Alexander D. Guderian, b September 18, 1865 in Germany, d April 19, 1909 at Satin, Falls County, Texas - a son of Ludwig and Annie (Dresner) Guderian - was married about 1885 to Charlotte Polley, b September 5,1868 in Germany, d July 20,1959 at Cottonwood, Falls County, Texas - a sister of Emil August Polley.

     Alexander was a farmer and cotton ginner, who came to Texas with his parents in 1871, at the age of 16 years. The children of Alexander and Charlotte (Polley) Guderian were:

     Willie Guderian, b August 5, 1886 in Falls County, d March 3, 1910 in Falls County.

     Henry Guderian, b December 10, 1888, d March 16, 1891.

     Helen Guderian, b May 16, 1891, d November 25, 1961 - married Richard Will.

     Herman Guderian, b January 23, 1894, d May 17, 1913.

     Esther Guderian, b March 18, 1896, d August 19, 1961 - married H. Walter Polley.

     David Guderian, b January 12, 1899, d October 19, 1983 - married Earline Bryant. His second wife was Lillie Gummelt.

     Adelia Guderian, b September 8, 1901, is unmarried.

     Erna Guderian, b July 7, 1904, d in 1984 - married October 25, 1924 to Rigsby Warren.

     Ethel Guderian, b November 19, 1906, d November 18, 1959 - married Otto Zube.
