Auguste Emilie
Woltmann, born August 17, 1859 in wronezyn bei Pudewitz, Prov Poznan, Germany. She married Gottlieb Adolf Grams, on December 26, 1882 in
Gnesen, Prov Poznan, Prussia, Germany.
Augusta and her
husband Gottlieb Grams arrived in the United States in 1884 along with their
infant son Ehrich.
In the 1900 Census
they were in Washington County, Texas and the last name was spelled "Gramms".
Seemed that Augusta had a new baby almost every year.
In 1900 Gottlieb was
42 years old, and Augusta was 41 years old.

The 1910 Census Falls
County shows:
Berta born 1901,
Sophia born1903.
Gottlieb and Augusta
were still living in Falls County in 1920, which showed they were naturalized in
1906.
Augusta Emilie (Woltmann)
Grams died September 23, 1925 in Greenvine, Washington County, Texas and is
buried there.
After Augusta's death
Gottlieb moved to Round Top, Fayette County, Texas.
On January 11, 1930 he married Emma Jahnz, the widowed sister of Augusta
Grams. They were married in the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Gottlieb Gram died in
Round Top, Fayette County, Texas in 1944. His second wife, Emma also died in
Round Top, Fayette County, Texas in 1949.
They both are buried in the Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Emma is buried between her two husbands.
The 1900 and 1920
shows the family as GRAMMS.
