Otto Ernest Foster, b. March 20,
1876, d. March 8, 1944-married on June 25, 1897 to Emilie Guderian, b. March 13,
1880 in Falls County, Texas-a daughter of Ludwig and Annie (Dresner) Guderian,
natives of Germany who came to Texas in 1871.
Otto and Emilie farmed in the Cottonwood Community, where they lived and reared
seven children:
J. Gus Foster, b. April 2, 1898 in Falls County-married April 2, 1938 to
Josephine Elizabeth Parnell.
Erna Foster, b. October 29, 1900-married December 20, 1920 to John A. Koym.
Alfredia Foster, b. March 29, 1902-married first on August 22, 1920 to L. S.
("Zip") Biron, and second in October 1970 to Russell Edwards.
Herbert Carl Foster, b. June 2, 1904, d. March 3, 1969-married November 9, 1927
to Roma Messick.
Lydia Foster, b. October 26, 1906-married first on July 5, 1924 to Joe Biron,
and second on October 27, 1941 to Clarence Jackobson.
Ethel Foster, b. September 10, 1909-married on March 23, 1929 to Albert Friess.
Gloyd Foster, b. January 17, 1913, d. November 10, 1985-married on October 21,
1932 to Frank Mallory.
After the death of Otto Ernest Foster, Emilie (Guderian) Foster married second
to John Schwank, and had two children:
Dollie Schwank, b. May 16, 1918 in Falls County, d. March 19, 1979-married
January 28, 1939 to Ruben Gummelt.
Nettie Schwank, b. August 19, 1920 in Falls County, Texas-married Lloyd
Jackobson.
