Andrew Mack Fiser, b. September 10, 1850 in Henry County, Tennessee, was a son
of Willis A. and Offa (Ridgeway) Fiser, natives of Tennessee. His grandparents
were Henry and Anna Marie (Hayes) Fiser of North Carolina, and James and Anna
(Lewis) Ridgeway of Virginia.
Andrew lived with his parents at Mooreville, Falls County, Texas after the
family moved there in late 1865 from Kansas. On October 17, 1874, he married
Lenora Bowman-a daughter of John Lewis and Matilda Bowman-who died September 11,
1875 at the birth of their son, Arthur Lee Fiser, who later attended
Southwestern University at Georgetown, Texas.
In 1889, Andrew Mack Fiser married second to Ophelia Bratton, a daughter of
Calvin W. and Sarah (Graves) Bratton. In 1891, Andrew Mack and Ophelia moved to
Robinson, McLennan County, where he farmed. They had one daughter, Clara Lucille
Fiser, b. in 1891.
