JAMES RILEY COX

 

 

     James Riley Cox, b July 8, 1902 at Oletha, Lime- stone County, Texas, d June 30, 1968 and buried at Thornton, Limestone County, Texas - was a son of Aaron and Melissa Katherine (Hendrix) Cox.

     On May 28, 1926, James Riley Cox (called "Riley") was married to Eunice Earl Hudson - a daughter of James Franklin and Mary Margaret (McMahan) Hudson.

     Riley and Eunice moved to Reagan, Falls County, Texas about 1954, and they were the parents of four children:

     James Aaron Cox, b March 1, 1927 - married Bobby Jean Polk, who d November 17, 1986. They lived for many years in Marlin, Texas before moving to Henderson, Texas, where Bobby died in 1986.

     Nellie Ailene Cox, b September 20, 1928 - was married first to Vernon Collinsworth, and; married second to Kenneth Wayne Thornton. They reside in Madisonville, Texas.

     Lloyd Dale Cox, b August 8, 1934 - married April 18, 1952 to Dorothy Jean Railsback.

     Mary Katharine Cox, b June 28, 1944 - married first to Richard Zann, and married second to Jerry Cooley. They reside at Highlands, Texas.

     Eunice Earl (Hudson) Cox continues to reside in Reagan, Falls County, Texas.
