Last Will and Testament of Redden Thigpen

I Redden Thigpen of said County and state, Farmer being of sound and deposing mind, memory and understanding do make, ordain, constitute and publish the following to be my last Will and Testament to wit.
First I give devise and bequeath all of my Estate real and Personal of which I am now on has I of ten may be seized and possessed as follows. I give to my wife Priscilla Thigpen and my daughters, Agnes Thigpen, Cornelia Thigpen, and Fanny Thigpen, my place or farm in said County and State containing 159 Acres more or less, for their joint use and tenancy during the life time of my said Wife Priscilla Thigpen and at her death said batch of land with all the Buildings and Appurtenances I give devise and bequeath unto my said three daughters Agnes, Cornelia, and Fanny and in the event of either one of my said Daughters marrying, thence so marrying is to leave the said place and those of my said daughters remaining unmarried I desire to remain on the said place and I so desire and bequeath the said place-Farm as aforesaid it being the place on which I now live.
Second Upon the marriage of all of my three Daughters Agnes, Cornelia and Fanny or at or upon the death of all of them it is my desire and I so will that the said place be sold and the proceeds be equally divided between and among all of my Children and the children of my deceased child then living to whit Agnes, Cornelia, Fanny, Peter, James, Joseph, William, Mack, Junius and the children of my daughter (now deceased) Susan Lynch. My intention is that any of my daughters who remain single shall have the place aforesaid and herein given, devised and bequeathed as a home so long as they ……… of them remain single. All of my lawful debts being first paid.
Third I also give and bequeath to my said Wife during her life time all and any Personal estate which I may own at the time of my death, and after her death I give and bequeath said Personal Estate any and all to my said three daughters Agnes, Cornelia and Fanny and upon the same terms and limitations as I have given devised and bequeathed the aforesaid Real Estate.
Fourth I nominate Constitute and appoint my friends Joseph Brunson and John J. Brogdon Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness hereof I have sworn to by my hand and Seal this fifth day April in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred and Eighty Nine.
