I, James T. Jackson of Privateer Township Sumter County, SC
by occupation a Farmer, make this my last will and testament I give
devise and
bequeath my Estate and property real and personal as follows, that is
to
say. I devise unto my wife Anna C.
Jackson my homestead and all my cleared land during her life time as a
home for
her and my daughters while they as any one of the remain unmarried. At the death of my wife Anna C. Jackson I
will that the above cleared lands and the house thereon shall pass to
my
unmarried daughters in the marriage of all of them, be with all my Real
Estate
equally divided between my Children James Benjamin, Thomas J., Ida
Nain, Mosses
Lee, Susannah, Samuel Harvin, and Mary Jane.
My sons John M. and Franklin P. Are not included in this
bequeath as
they have been fully provided for. I
give and bequeath my carpenter tools to my son John M. Jackson. All the other of my personal property I
bequeath to my wife Anna C. Jackson as long as she shall live and the
to be
equally divided among all my children as the heirs except my cow and
increase
which I bequeath to my daughter Ida Nain.
I appoint Frank Mellett, John M. Jackson and William O.
Cain executors of this my will. On
witness whereof I signed sealed and declared this instrument as my Will
and
Testament on September the twenty Sixth Eighteen hundred and Eighty
four.
