The last Will and Testament of Oliver Hodge, Stateof South Carolina, Sumter County.
First. It is my will and desire that after mydeath my body shall be decently buried.
Second. I give and bequeath to my beloved wifeElizabeth Hodge all of my real and personal property for and duringher natural life, and after her death to be disposed of as follows. To be equally divided among my children to share and share alike,Harriet S. Ballard, Elizabeth J. Neal, Mary F. Hodge, Martha O.Hodge, Sophronia N. Hodge, William Hodge, Julia Hodge, Margaret A. Hodge, Agnes H. Hodge, for their sole and separate use not to beliable for the debts of their husbands, and after their deaths to bedivided among their children.
Third. It is my will and desire that my unmarriedchildren remain with their mother as long as they remain single. Itis my will and desire that Mrs. Harriet S. Ballard and Mrs. ElizabethJ. Neal remain at the Homestead with their Mother, provided Mrs.Harriet S. Ballard remain separated from her husband Francis Ballardand Mrs. Elizabeth J. Neal remains single.
Fourth. I nominate & appoint my wifeElizabeth Hodge and my son William Hodge my Executrix and Executor tothis my last Will and Testament.
