Wilson of the State and District afore Said being of weak Bodily Health but
sound disposing mind and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to Die
do make this my Will and Testament Hereby revoking and Disannuling all other
wills heretofore made by me. Item 1st I
will that after my Decease my body be decently Buried and that all my Just
Debts be paid. Item 2nd I will and
bequeath to my beloved Wife Sarah B. Wilson the anual Neat proceedes of the
following Negroes viz Albert--Addison Amelia and Child Abba, Frances and Child
Adaline---Caroline and two Children Juan and William, Dean Lavina Bob and
Elvirah with there future Increase. The
above named Negroes to be under the controls and managment of my Executors to
be kept on that portion of Land that I will hereafter name to my wife during
Her Natural Life: - - At Her Death the above named Negroes together with ther
Increase to go to my Son Robert Wilson and his Heires forever: - - 3 I also
give to my Wife Sarah B. Wilson to be at Her own disposal the following Negroes
viz ---- Sharper Tilly and her four youngest Children John--Julia--Ben--and
Thomas with there future Increase:-- 4 I leave also to my Sarah B. Wilson my
Carriage and Carriage Horses with one third of my Stock of Cattle Hogs and
Sheep. 5 I also give to my wife after
my Daughter Sarah L. Wilson has gotten off two Beds Bedsteads and
furnature:--All the remaining part of my Household and Kitchen furnature. 6 I also give to my Wife on half of my
provisions Crop: -- 7 I will and bequeath to my five Children Viz William
Thomas, Samuel Ervin, Mary Margarett, Sarah Susannah, Martha Elmira Mills the
remainder of my Negro property not herein named to be Equally devided Among
them---8 I Will and bequeath to my Daughter Sarah Susannah My Giff Gray Mare
and Colt Or one Horse valued at One hundred and Seventy five Dollars. Also that
She get Two Hundred and fifty Dollars from my Estate for the use I have had of
Her Negroes heretofore:--9 I Will to my Son Samuel E. Wilson also my two
Daughters Mary Margarett and Martha Elmira--Each One Horse Valued at One
Hundred and Twenty five Dollars:--10 I Will and bequeath My Lands not
previously deeded to my Sons Samuel E. Wilson and R. B. Wilson to be disposed
of in the following manner a Line to run from Boggy Gully Branch to Black River
Swamp taking of one third of the uper part of my presant Tract to my Son R. B.
Wilson valued at five Dollars per Acre.
The remaining two thirds to my wife Sarah B. Wilson and Daughter Sarah
Susannah during the Life time of my Wife at her Death the half to my Daughter
Sarah Susannah on which the Dwelling and out Buildings Stand the Line to run
paralel with the Branch Valued at five Dollars per acre the remainder then to
my Son Robert Bradley also valued at five Dollars per acre. At my Death I will that the Notes I hold
against my Sons Samuel E. and Robert B. for the Land previously Deeded to them
Including the Valuation of Land Now Willed to my Son Robert Bradley and
Daughter Sarah Susannah with all the other Notes and Moneys together with all
other perishable property of Every kind to Equally divided at my Death among my
Seven Children Viz William Thomas Samuel Ervin John Layhton Mary Margarett
Sarah Susannah Martha Elmira and Robert Bradley: - Lastly I do hereby appoint
my Sons William Thomas Samuel Eiven and Robert Bradley Wilsons my Executors to
this my Last Will and Testament. In
witness whereof I here unto Set my Hand and Seal this Twenty first day of
February in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Signed
