WILL OF WILLIAM S WILDER
State of Carolina Sumter District
In the Name of God Amen! I, William S Wilder, State & District aforesaid Planter, I make this my last Will and Testament [viz)] My Body I give unto the Earth my Soul I resign into the Hand of God who gave it.
First, after all my just debts are paid, I give and bequeath unto my Eldest Son William D Wilder One Half of the Tract of Land whereon I reside at this time-One Wagon, One Feather Bad, three head of Cattle, one half of the household & Kitchen furniture One half of my stock of hogs, and One half of my negro Follow Charles to him & to the heirs of his Body forever.
Item, I give to my Daughter Nancy Falconar my negro Wench named Nancy & her child Bob and all her future issue and increase, One Horse named Pong and Two of the best Cows among my Stock of Cattle to her & to the Heirs of her Body forever.
Item, I give to Son Griffin Wilder One Half of my Tract of land on which I now live, One riding Chair, One Feather Bed, Three head of Cattle, One half of my Household & Kitchen furniture.
One half of my stock of hogs and one half of my Follow Charles to him & to the Heirs of his body forever ----------------Whatever may be remaining of my Estate to be equally divided among my Two Sons William D Wilder & Griffin Wilder
I now hereunto appoint unto this my last Will and Testament William D Wilder, Griffin Wilder and William Falconar Executors to my Estate.
In Witness whereof I now Set my Hand and Seal this 13 day of December Anno Domini One thousand Eight hundred
& twenty-two and in the forty-seventh year of American Independence.
